SURTYMAR Consulting assists you in all your maritime and port security requirements and general security requirements (ISPS Code, AEO, Activities of Vital Importance, Technical-Operational Studies).

In France and abroad, SURTYMAR advises ports, port facilities and maritime companies, local authorities and port authorities. Its consultants are experts in international (ISPS Code, SOLAS Convention and IMO circulars), European community (regulation 725 and directive 65).

SURTYMAR is a Recognized Security Organization (RSO) certified by the French authorities for all types of ships, port facilities and ports.

Authorized Economic Operators
SURTYMAR advises maritime businesses and companies who wish to benefit from AEO status in order to have easier access to simplified customs procedures or to be in a more favorable position in terms of new security requirements. With the regulations in effect since 1 July 2009, AEO certification authorizes the holder to benefit from easier procedures in terms of new types of customs inspections from a security point of view.

International Ship and Port Faci lity Security Code (ISPS Code)
An Authorized Security Agency (RSO) by Ministerial order, for all types of ships, port facilities and ports (a Recognized Security Organism in the sense of the ISPS Code) the SURTYMAR Agency assists ships, ports and port facilities to prepare and issue security assessments and plans (SSA, SSP, PSA, PSP, PFSA, PFSP). It also carries out security audits and brings all its skills and experience to bear in conducting security exercises and providing trainings for ports, port facilities and ships.

Operators and Points of Vital Importance
Duly authorized (SURTYMAR and its consultants) to work on these sensitive questions, it produces studies and documents on the security of activities of vital importance, risk audits, operator security plans, and special protection plans, for everything that touches maritime and port activities and more. The list of client references is confidential.

Here too, duly authorized and on the strength of its extensive experience in maritime and port security, SURTYMAR participates in technical-operational studies for government and public bodies. FOCUS ON PORT OF ROUEN – FRANCE
Since 2004, SURTYMAR has been operating on almost all of the 47 French ports governed by the ISPS code, as listed in article R.321-15 of the French maritime ports code. In the port of Rouen, for example, it has been working for the Grand Port Maritime police as well as for port facilities of all kinds.

 

FOCUS ON NATIONAL PORTS AGENCY – MOROCCO
The Mediterranean port of Tangiers (TMSA, TMPA), and then the National Ports Agency (ANP) asked SURTYMAR to implement a security policy for the 12 international commercial ports in Morocco. SURTYMAR has been working since 2008 to upgrade security at the 12 Moroccan ports open to international traffic and the approximately 40 port facilities that they contain. The company’s audits, assessments and security plans as well as its regulatory, organizational, material and technical recommendations reaffirm its position as leader in this market in France and Morocco. A subsidiary, SURTYMAR Morocco, a security design consultancy, was created in early 2011.
