A former specialist officer in the French Navy (Fusiliers Marins - Commandos Marine) and honorary frigate captain, Jean-François CARET has held various positions of responsibility in operational units (Commandos Marine: overseas operations, maritime counter-terrorism) and specialized units (protection of ships, ports and military hotspots) , as well as in training schools (specialist instructor and course director).
Maritime Expert (AFEXMAR ) Jean-François CARET is more specifically in charge of drafting security assessments (over 75 to date) and security plans (over 115 completed) for ports and port facilities. He is also responsible for ISPS port security training at all levels.
