PIERRE MARIONNET

Honorary Chairman
A former senior officer in the French Navy's fusiliers marins and commandos, and a former officer of the watch, Pierre Marionnet sailed for many years on the corvette Aconit and the patrol vessel Albatros. He worked extensively to ensure the safety of the Navy's sensitive points (ships, submarines, aircraft, port facilities), and was for a time a United Nations observer in Cambodia. He ended his career in the French Navy commanding a company of fusiliers marins.

After completing an MBA at Nantes Audencia, he became Director of Operations at FedEx's European hub at Roissy Charles de Gaulle. In 2003, he founded SURTYMAR, the first maritime and port security agency, and is the editor of the VADE-MECUM ISPS published by INFOMER.

Pierre MARIONNET is currently Honorary Chairman of the SURTYMAR Agency, which he represents in dealings with various institutions.
