TARGET AUDIENCE

This course is aimed at shipping companies, sailors and seafarers wishing to familiarize themselves with the threat of drone attacks.

OBJECTIVE

  • Understand the characteristics of drones
  • Recognize and reduce the threat posed by drones
  • Improve situational awareness to mitigate on-board risks.

PREREQUISITES

None

TEACHING METHOD

The training session takes place entirely online (Full Online - FOAD), with a dedicated SURTYMAR pedagogical referent and technical referent, and via a Learning Management System (LMS).

DURATION

1 hour (training, practical test to validate skills)

AUDITORY

1 access per person

TRAINER

Pedagogical support is provided by a consultant with expertise and experience in implementing the knowledge and concepts taught.

Technical support is provided by a technical advisor.

EVALUATION

  • Final evaluation of 10 questions.
  • Certificate awarded with 60% correct answers.
  • Test can be reset until passed.
  • Pass rate is 100%.

CERTIFICATION OF TRAINING

A certificate of awareness of the drone threat at sea will be issued by the Agency to the candidate within a week, in digital format, after completion of the training.
