Introduction: Presentation of the trainees, identification of the group's level of knowledge and the expectations of each trainee, and presentation of the teaching method adapted to the context of the session by the trainer. The trainer then presents the training objectives and the following program:
Module 1 :
- General principles of security and objectives of maritime transport security
- Knowledge of prohibited items in maritime security
- Knowledge of the port environment
- General knowledge of the various players involved in maritime transport and their roles
- Regulatory provisions applicable to maritime transport and port security
- Understanding the role of port facilities and restricted areas
- Role of government departments and other stakeholders in maritime transport and port security
- Conditions for granting, suspending and withdrawing dual approval
- Conditions for monitoring the activities of security agents
Module 2:
- Ethics of security visits
- Behavior towards individuals, security palpation
- Implementation of integrity maintenance techniques during boarding
- Detection of prohibited articles in maritime transport
- Use of portable magnetic mass detection equipment on persons, with practical demonstrations
- Use of explosive trace detection equipment
- Techniques for searching vehicles, including cargo, baggage, containers and cargo units for prohibited articles and unauthorized persons.
Conclusion: Questions/answers, consolidation and evaluation of acquired knowledge, training assessment and evaluation.
FOR PARTICIPANTS
Module 1 and 2 :
Articles R. 5332-34 and R. 5332-35 of the French Transport Code, and delivered in accordance with the procedures specified in the ministerial reference order dated September 23, 2009.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This training course is intended for permanent or substitute security officers of port facilities subject to the ISPS code.
OBJECTIVE

TEACHING METHOD
The training is led by a SURTYMAR trainer with a PowerPoint presentation and a discussion with the trainees.
DURATION
3.5 hours of training, including practical test to validate skills and 6 15-minute breaks

This training course is led and supervised by a trainer with expertise and experience in implementing the knowledge and concepts taught.
DATES AND VENUES
- September 14 to 17, 2021 then December 7 to 10, 2021
- These training courses will take place in Paris Levallois.

ACVS 2
TARGET AUDIENCE
ACVS Module 2 training is intended for surveillance officers, security officers, protection officers, guards, security guards, stationed in a ZAR or a PIF, in a PI or on board a ship.
OBJECTIVE
To acquire the concepts of ethics and behavior to be adopted during security inspections, as well as the equipment and inspection techniques used for security inspections (as defined by the relevant ministerial decree). These training elements must be acquired before or immediately after the agents take up their duties.

7 hours of training, including practical test to validate skills and 4 15-minute breaks
