Introduction: Presentation of the trainees, identification of the group's level of knowledge and the expectations of each trainee, and presentation of the teaching method adapted to the context of the session by the trainer. The trainer then presents the training objectives and the following program:
- Loading and boarding procedures
- Transport of dangerous goods
- Cargo subjection
- Stability, trim and stress calculations
- Opening, closing and locking of hull openings
- Atmosphere on ro-ro decks
- Design and operating limits (Code B1/14)
- ROPAX legislation and codes of practice
- Special emergency procedures for ro-ro ships
Conclusion: Questions/answers, consolidation and evaluation of acquired knowledge, training assessment and evaluation.

OBJECTIVE
PREREQUISITES
- Seafarers with V/2-1
- Seafarers' medical check-up up to date
TEACHING METHOD
The training is led by a SURTYMAR trainer and includes a Power Point presentation, discussions with trainees, role-playing and group exercises.
DURATION
8 hours for officers and 4 hours for non-officers
