Introduction: Presentation of the trainees, identification of the group's level of knowledge and the expectations of each trainee, and presentation of the teaching method adapted to the context of the session by the trainer. The trainer then presents the training objectives and the following program:
- On-board emergency plans and procedures
- Optimization and use of resources
- Dealing with emergency situations (assessment, command, stress management)
- Supervision of passengers and crew in crisis situations
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication.
Conclusion: Questions/answers, consolidation and evaluation of acquired knowledge, training assessment and evaluation.

Personnel responsible for passenger safety on the muster list: officers, masters (Pont Machine Hôtel) and those in charge of searching for, accompanying and collecting passengers.
OBJECTIVE
PREREQUISITES
- STCW V/2-1 preferred
- Up-to-date seafarers' medical examination
TEACHING METHOD
The session is led by a SURTYMAR trainer and includes a Power Point presentation, discussions with trainees, role-playing and group exercises.
DURATION
7 hours of training, including 4 hours of theory and 3 hours of practice, including a practical test to validate skills and a 15-minute break.
AUDITORY
12 trainees maximum (no minimum)
TRAINER
This training course is led and supervised by a trainer with expertise and experience in implementing the knowledge and concepts taught. The trainer's CV is available on request.

TRAINING ON BOARD OR ASHORE
For onboard training in operation, we comply with rule 2-3 of the MLC 2006 convention.
